Location

The SafeData hosted solution is located in the Greenwich data centre in East London. This data centre is ideal for out of Docklands co-location with direct links to central London and provides excellent pricing for standard power co-location.

The site also benefits from having completely diverse data rooms onsite with diverse power feeds from the grid, UPS, switch gear and AC. This provides the ideal solution for diverse multiple collocation racks in the same facility.

The facility has the added benefits of being connected to our Data centre provisioning partner thus allowing us to grow our cloud facility by being connected to all major data centres across the UK and the Europe. The facility is on a separate power grid to Docklands and Telehouse, making this an excellent failover site.

Technology

We have partnered with leading system manufacturers for the hardware we use and trust to operate SafeData on. Our partners include Intel, HP, Cisco and Microsoft. We operate a dual hardware appliance environment to ensure a complete failover redundancy. Our facilities allow over 280TB of storage space per full height rack and we have guaranteed availability to grow our storage server systems to well over 1 Petabyte.
